That is a Yuji Naka game by the way. Cool to see what he's doing now. Looks very cute.

However I have now switched to Giant Bomb.

I will say though if that's the level of stuff in the pre-show that is promising for this event.

On which stuff Brad on GB just confirmed that there will be third party stuff shown in the main show.

The more I see of Watch Dogs Legion the more it pisses me off. Its just such a ridiculously caricatured version of London, and the inane way it is dealing with its subjects given whats happening in the UK right now is horrible. And I was optimistic when it was first rumoured.

At least the first line of the trailer was accurate.

I suspect a lot of that will be very aggressive pricing and GamePass offers. That won't be here though, they have said to only expect games.

It'll be a great chance for them to turn their first party fortunes around though, because frankly Xbox's first party output has been shockingly bad for effectively a decade, and now they own all those studios they can turn it around.

The Switch actually gets a lot more exclusives. And it definitely isnt a desert.

If anything the Switch and the PS4 have too many games. Go look at the eshop or the PSN store. Theyre a mess of thousands of games, most pretty bad. There is something to be said for a smaller, curated lineup.

I think if the two games had launched years apart, that thought absolutely makes sense, but they launched on the same day, were the number one and two games that week, and were "competing" first party releases.

Anyway, despite the fact that Ghost of Tsushima was well clear I wouldn't be surprised if Origami King does better in the long run. Better than Super Paper Mario without digital means we could see numbers in the 5+ million range. Quite the comeback from Color Splash!

Here is somebody wondering why anybody would compare the opening weekend sales of Ghost of Tsushima and Paper Mario (which launched on the same day). I posted this because it reminded me of the constant amount of Redditors going "But why would you compare two games from different genres???" during GOTD2.

The point is Nintendo dont have any dated releases right now, and this will give some stuff. Probably a release date for Bravely Default 2, which they are publishing (outside of Japan) and at least a release window for No More Heroes 3, which is an exclusive.
